The most hilarious scene in all of Shakespeare, the preposterous love of Titania, the faery queen, for the 'mechanical' Bottom. Though in equal parts perplexed and delighted, Bottom is ever-gallant and treats Titania with unfailing respect, a decency that only makes the scene all the more absurd, all the funnier.
Also available in a set of six, each showing a scene from one of the plays in our Shakespeare collection: Hamlet, Macbeth, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Romeo and Juliet, Twelfth Night and Henry IV Part One.
Hand-crafted in London by artist Teresa Robertson and writer Leo Schulz.
